On the top of the hill is the ancient acropolis of the port of the PHEIA, and after the late years on 13 A.C. was rebuilt with ancient materials from the Franks the Castle of BEAUVOIR where was the Byzantine fortress, where you can have amazing panoramic views on the infinity of the Ionian Sea.
